CPS All-City Visual Arts Exhibition Opening Reception

The 2026 CPS All-City Visual Arts Exhibition provides a unique opportunity to showcase student achievement in visual and media arts and exhibit their work in highly-visible, public exhibition spaces in Chicago. The high school exhibition showcases 2D, 3D, and digital artwork by students in grades 9–12 and the elementary exhibition features work by students from pre-K through 8th grade.

Feel free to join the exhibition opening anytime between 4:00pm-7:00pm. The suggested attire is festive! If you have general questions or concerns, please email: allcityarts@cps.edu.

City of Ideas: Opening Night Party!

Celebrate the opening of ChiDM‘s Fall 2016 exhibition, City of Ideas: Architects’ Voices and Visions. Come for jazz, drinks, and lively conversations with architects, designers, and your fellow design-lovers. Members are invited for an exclusive preview from 5:30 to 6:00 PM featuring special remarks from exhibit curator Vladimir Belogolovsky. (Want to become a member?)

Unfolded Opening Reception: Spring Fling

Please join us at a Spring Fling celebration to officially open our newest exhibit, Unfolded: Made with Paper.

Bring your friends April 28th from 6:00-9:00pm for paper-themed fun and spring celebrations.

Enjoy a harmonious romp through florecita soul with beats from Antonio Garcia, sip drinks from the open bar, and play with paper while viewing the amazing paper works of 44 different exhibitors.

Members: $10 before April 20, $12 at the door
Non-Members: $15 before April 20, $20 at the door.
